ZeeBORN System with ITGC and SOA compliant User Management

lawStarting with Version 10.7.1 ZeeBORN has extended the user management module with access rights modification tracking and related reporting features.

Each modification of access rights will be stored together with a timestamp and the name of the user who is changing the access right.

The new reporting feature allows you to show the current active access rights on user and role level but also all access rights changes on a given timeline.

According to different standards (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOA), IT General Controls (ITGC) and other) the results of the report can be stored in an external file protected against further modification.

ZeeBORN System Version 10.7.1 available

All customers are now invited to upgrade to the newest ZeeBORN System version 10.7.1.

v1071In this new version you will find many new features but also many improvements of the already existing features. We have to thank all our customers for all the feedback that we get nearly every day – we have to thank for all these great ideas that help us to improve the system with each release. We have also to thank for all the assistance we get for finding those nasty bugs that somehow managed to survive all the tests before publishing the next releases.

For an overview about the new and improved features in the new release we recommend reading our special section Release Notes. Registered customers will also find further details at ZeeBORN Projects.

This new version has also been rolled out to all existing demo accounts on our demo server. Existing demo account users will now have full access to this new version.

Patch support for Windows XP SP2 ends tomorrow

You will also find official statements at the Microsoft Windows XP website. There you’ll find information about how to get the latest service packs and security updates for Windows XP and – of course – available upgrade paths to Windows 7.

ZeeBORN will continue the software compatibility tests for Windows XP until 1st of June 2011. All versions released after this date might still run on Windows XP but will no longer be supported on Windows XP.
