ZeeBORN Yacht Management will be upgraded to full ZeeBORN Fleet Management solution

Until the end of 2010 ZeeBORN will update all current users of the ZeeBORN Yacht Management solution to the full ZeeBORN Fleet Management solution … for free.
In an attempt of consolidating current software versions and related development efforts all features of the Yacht Management solution have been already merged into the "bigger" Fleet Management solution. Current users will receive in the next days an e-mail with a detailed description of the upgrade process and available options for further extensions of the new system. ZeeBORN will also provide demo accounts on the demo server for testing the Fleet Management solution before the actual upgrade will be performed.
With the decision to make this upgrade available without extra charge, we would like to thank all loyal customers who supported us since the time when ZeeBORN started the business.
As a part of the consolidation process, ZeeBORN fades out further development of the previous separate Yacht Management solution. A final update will be made available in mid of September. Customers who decide not to upgrade now, will of course still receive full support.
ZeeBORN Update, Demo Server Extended

Please find in the Products section of our web site the updated descriptions of the single solutions within our ZeeBORN Fleet Management solution.
As the huge number of new features and improvements would exceed the number of text lines a typical visitor would read, we have extended the number of available demo accounts on our demo server. This demo server allows you to see the full software in action and you can access it from any computer with Internet access without installing additional software on your own computer. For further details about our demo server and how to get access to it, please read the article ZeeBORN Demo Server.
Existing customers can use our demo server as well to see the newest software releases but also daily builds, prototypes and concepts long before release – maybe a good opportunity to check if the ever wanted feature has been implemented – and to send us a friendly reminder if this feature is still missing.

All ZeeBORN Solutions Pass Windows 7 Compatibility Tests
The ZeeBORN support team has finished today the last test of a series of Microsoft Windows 7 compatibility tests. While earlier versions of the ZeeBORN solutions have been already successfully developed and tested on beta versions and release candidates of Windows 7, final tests have now been performed on the RTM version (RTM = Release to Manufacturing).
As soon as Windows 7 will be available to our customers (public release announced for 22nd of October 2009), our customers will be able to use all ZeeBORN solutions on all editions of Windows 7 including the Windows 7 Starter edition to be used on netbook class computers.
With this successful test, ZeeBORN solutions are now available for the following Windows platforms: Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Vista, Windows 2008 Server, Windows 7.

ZeeBORN Secure Devices will allow you to add and easily change where new locations of fleet management information is required. Furthermore ZeeBORN Secure Devices will provide a high level of security, as no data resides on vulnerable laptops and desktops. A further level of security is provided by user access levels in the ZeeBORN software, which limits user access and prevents the download of fleet information.
