# Lube Oil Reports

The Lube Oil Reports module is used for recording and managing lubricating oil purchases and consumption. Purchases are handled through the Purchase module, allowing orders to be placed from one or more predefined lube oil catalogues. Consumption data is recorded on board, and the current price is calculated automatically based on the FIFO principle.

A future extension of the module will include the analysis of lube oil samples, similar to the process used in the Bunkering module — including sending samples ashore to laboratories and evaluating the results. Recurring analyses can be linked to Maintenance jobs to ensure regular monitoring and compliance with operational standards.
